My name is Alwyn Kotze and I live and work  in Johannesburg,  South Africa.

My working life started in the financial and risk management industry, and ended with me being on the board of a large corporation. Reaching the top of the ladder was a anti-climax, as I realised that even if you win the rat race,  you’re still only a rat. After years of treading the mill viciously in aim of the top spot, I realized that I was on the wrong mill, and needed to get off.

I ended up making my life-long hobby my career and it saved my life. Today I assist businesses big and small with my knowledge of web design, and my natural ability to plan, deploy and execute an ace marketing plan.

After a very long time of trying to run a blog and a “portfolio” site with a polished image at the same time, and keeping both in tip top shape,  I decided to merge the two into one. You are currently experiencing the process.

Webson’s blog will always be about my interesting finds on the internet, but will from now on forward also carry all my musings on web design and internet marketing.
