How to break the Windows XP password

This hack is for those of us who have forgotten our passwords on Windows. Sometimes you just need to get in there. Luckily it is not so difficult to do with Microsoft XP.

In case of user password boot the pc in safemode by pressing the F8 key and then selecting the Safe Mode option. You can now logon as an administrator and XP won’t prompt for the password.

Incase of an administrator account try rebooting the pc in DOS. access C:\Windows\system32\config\sam . Rename SAM as SAM.mj Now XP won’t ask for password next time You Login.

Also Go to the cmd prompt .
Type net user *.
It will list all the users.
Again type net user “administrator” or the name of the administrator “name” *.
e.g.: net user aaaaaa *(where aaaaaa is the name).
It will ask for the password.
Type the password and there you are done.

Logging In As Administrator:
Hold the Ctrl-Alt key and press Del twice. This will bring up the normal login and you can log on as Administrator

Free video converter: The one that really works.

Being a webdesigner means that I have a lot of video converting to do, and that I get quite a lot of formats that in the end needs to be converted mainly to flash.

My turn of fortune came the time that I had to convert a realplayer file to flash. That one really hurt and kept me looking for answers for a couple of days until I found Super. Their headline says that they can convert for free what commercial programs cannot convert, and they were right.

Actually, super is a interface to quite a few codecs and encoders, and whilst not an interface that will blow your mind with its design, it gets the job done amazingly fast and without fuss.
